From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leaders
Every great company has a story, and Beverley Leisure Homes is no exception. What started as a vision in 2017 has since evolved into a thriving, industry-leading manufacturer of holiday lodges. Through dedication, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to quality, we have grown from a small operation to a powerhouse in the leisure home sector. Here’s a look at our journey so far.
2017 – The Beginning
On July 1st, 2017, we officially got the keys to our very first factory – a 12,000 sq ft space where our dream of producing luxurious holiday lodges became a reality. Just a few months later, in September, we proudly attended our first trade show at Cottingham Golf Club, stepping into the industry spotlight and showcasing our work.
2018 – Investing in the Future
Recognising the importance of skilled craftsmanship, we launched our apprenticeship scheme in 2018. This initiative has been key to developing talent and ensuring that the next generation of skilled professionals carries forward our commitment to excellence.
2019 – Expansion & Bespoke Projects
2019 was a milestone year for us. We demonstrated our versatility and bespoke service by constructing the restaurant at Heron Lakes, proving that our expertise extends beyond lodges. In the same year, we expanded our Tickton factory to a sprawling 20,000 sq ft, allowing us to increase production and take on more ambitious projects.
2020 – Growth Continues
Amidst challenging global circumstances, we took another bold step forward by establishing Minster Leisure Homes in Beverley. This additional 20,000 sq ft factory strengthened our position in the market and gave us the capacity to continue innovating.
2022 – Scaling Up Again
As demand for our high-quality lodges continued to grow, we expanded once more, adding an additional 12,000 sq ft factory at our Tickton site. This strategic move allowed us to streamline operations and enhance our production capabilities.
2023 – A Unifying Year
A significant milestone in our journey, 2023 saw the merger of Beverley Park Homes and Minster Leisure Homes, creating Beverley Leisure Homes – a single, unified brand. This move allowed us to strengthen our market presence and offer an even better service to our customers.
In the same year, we proudly became members of the NCC (National Caravan Council) and BH&HPA (British Holiday & Home Parks Association), further cementing our reputation in the industry. To cap off an eventful year, we attended the prestigious Harrogate Show, connecting with industry leaders and showcasing our latest innovations.
2024 – Leading the Industry
Determined to push boundaries, we took things to the next level by hosting our own trade shows at MMN and YSR. This gave us a fantastic opportunity to engage directly with customers, showcase our expertise, and set the standard for what a holiday lodge manufacturer can achieve.
In addition, we held our own supply chain event – an initiative we hope to make a regular occurrence. Bringing together suppliers and industry partners, this event was a testament to our commitment to collaboration, innovation, and growth.
