Our Journey to Net Zero Begins

Certificate to show bronze award

At Beverley Leisure Homes, we take pride in the quality of our work, the dedication of our team and the lodges we build. But we know that building for the future means thinking about more than just timber and tiles. It means thinking about the environment too.

That’s why we’ve officially started our journey to becoming a net zero business.

We’re proud to share that we’ve recently been awarded a Bronze Net Zero Certificate. This recognition marks the first step on a long-term path to reducing our environmental impact. It means we are committed, we are championing change, and we are collaborating with others to build a more sustainable future.

While we’re at the beginning of this journey, we’ve already introduced a number of changes across our business. Small actions that collectively help us work more responsibly. Every bit counts, and we believe consistency matters just as much as the bigger decisions still to come.

One example is our approach to waste. We recycle all our waste materials, including the smaller, easily overlooked items, right down to the coffee pods in the office. It might seem minor, but every choice like this brings us closer to where we want to be.

We’ve also launched our Plant a Tree Scheme, a commitment to plant one tree for every lodge we send out. While tree planting isn’t a direct way to reduce our own carbon emissions, it does contribute to a healthier environment and helps create habitats for British wildlife. It’s a small step, but it’s part of a much bigger picture.

Looking ahead, we’re focused on growing our efforts and working with our suppliers, partners and team to keep improving. Our bronze certificate is just the beginning! There’s more work to be done, and we’re ready for it.

We know that our customers, holiday park owners across the country are also thinking about sustainability and the future of our shared environment. We’re proud to be moving in the right direction, and we hope to inspire others to do the same.

If you’d like to learn more about what we’re doing, or even share your own ideas for going greener, we’d love to hear from you.

Let’s build a better future, together.
